Le Meurice: A Jewel In Paris
Le Meurice is a traditional 5-star hotel in Paris, the place preserves the charming Belle Époque style. Located on Rue du Rivoli, opposite the Jardin des Tuileries, Le Meurice has the best possible location! You can walk to the most charming spots in town, and it’s close to wonderful shops and incredible cafes. Speaking of amazing cafes and restaurants, once in Le Meurice you do not have to go far, inside the hotel you find wonderful options, as is the case of Le Dalí.
The Restaurant Dalí, By Alain Ducasse
Le Dalí is commanded by the master Alain Ducasse, considered one of the greatest heads of the world. Just to get an idea, Ducasse today has 21 Michelin stars (adding all his restaurants). Amazing! The restaurant is inspired by the icon of surrealism Salvador Dalí, a blend of classic architecture with surrealist references, definitely an inspiring place. The cuisine is a dialogue between the traditional Parisian brasserie and the Mediterranean cuisine. The executive chef, Jocelyn Herland creates a menu that is a celebration of Ducasse’s vision of contemporary cuisine – sincere, tasty and made to share (the French love to sit at the table and share good times!) – with dishes that talk to each other and can be Served as main course or in half portions for a light snack.
The desserts were a show apart, the pâtissier @cedricgrolet chef is a genius, all delicious and very creative, look at this black lemon jam, the right picture is of Grolet’s Instagram …
It was no wonder that Grolet was awarded as the best chef pâtissier in 2016. Seriously, just amazing.
About the environment, Le Dalí is a unique, very Parisian place where people like to see and be seen, a cozy and very charming hideaway in the heart of Paris. In the photo me and Chris, in the most romantic dinner of the trip.
Le Meurice is a very unique place that even had a beautiful gift with a little note. How can you not feel special in a hotel like this? Merci beaucoup Le Meurice!
