IN THE GIVENCHY BRAND SHOW • LOOK OF THE DAY

 In Fashion, Parade and Backstages

In the last weeks, there have been presentations for the Ready to Wear collections of the most traditional French fashion houses, including Givenchy, who put on the catwalks the second collection signed by the new creative director of the brand, Clare Waight Keller.
Waight Keller, who is the first woman to take up this position at Givenchy, gave her best by presenting a collection with classic touches of the Maison in pieces with a modern and seductive concept.
Inspired by the mysterious airs of Berlin divided by walls, the collection featured contrasts of textures such as leather and lace or silk and (false) fur worn on coats. The color chart had cooler tones, with colors that showed the glitter of embroidery and once of the point varnish in some pieces of the look.
To watch the parade, I used a look that also involves trends this season, such as Heaven Please + trench coat, which has a well-known modernist footprint of the pair of responsible designers (Yi Chan and Lary Cheung, are designers from Hong Kong, who have been at the helm of the brand since 2011). More than modern clothes, the desire of the designers of Heaven Please + is to show that simple pieces can show their individuality and, for this, use irregular cuts, accentuated colors and application of craft techniques in the manufacture of each piece.
The accessories were made by the Ferragamo glasses (with colored detail next to the lens that sent the same color chart of the coat), earrings Taiguel Rievers (brand of jewelry with contemporary designer that uses only Brazilian stones) and ring Virgínia Tavares Joias, that brought the classic touch and left everything perfect.

I can not fail to mention the purse, which won my heart, for it was no less than the invitation to the parade.
