O projeto se chama Raízes, lugar de afeto.
The project is called Roots, place of affection.
Este projeto sui generis, provocou o encontro de elementos estéticos entre as artes plásticas e o design de moda, utilizando o vestir-se como meio de provocar a maneira de apresentar a xilogravura, imprimindo gravuras em moletom.As peças e matrizes foram desenvolvidos exclusivamente para essa collab do Divina7 com o Ateliê EFFE serão 100 impressões, sendo 10 PA (prova do artista) e 90 impressões em moletons a venda, numerados e com certificado de autenticidade personalizado.
This sui generis project provoked the meeting of aesthetic elements between the plastic arts and fashion design, using dressing as a means of provoking the way of presenting woodcuts, printing engravings on sweatshirts. The pieces and matrices were developed exclusively for This Divina7 collab with Ateliê EFFE will have 100 prints, 10 of which are PA (artist’s proof) and 90 prints on sweatshirts for sale, numbered and with a personalized certificate of authenticity.

Fernando Sousa é Bacharel Design de Moda pela Estácio de Fortaleza e é o Designer à frente da direção criativa do Ateliê EFFE.
Fernando Sousa has a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Estácio de Fortaleza and is the Designer heading the creative direction of Ateliê EFFE.
Assim que foi apresentado as ideias e possibilidades de uma nova colaboração, Fernando com toda sua expertise desenvolveu um modelo exclusivo, em conjunto definimos a cartela de cores que será preto, off white e castanho.
As soon as the ideas and possibilities of a new collaboration were presented, Fernando, with all his expertise, developed an exclusive model, together we defined the color palette which will be black, off white and brown.
A criação de novas matrizes e as estampas foram escolhidas em continuidade a coleção “Raízes e outras memórias”, elementos da natureza que fizeram parte da infância do artista, levando o espectador a imaginar um cenário bucólico, de acolhimento e afeto lá do interior de Minas Gerais.
The creation of new matrices and prints were chosen in continuity with the “Roots and Other Memories” collection, elements of nature that were part of the artist’s childhood, leading the viewer to imagine a bucolic scenario, of welcome and affection in the interior of Minas Gerais.

Para o shooting, seguindo o olhar ao encontro da afetividade, foi escolhida a casa onde reside o artista para emoldurar o registro das imagens.
A casa da década de 40, faz parte do início da carreira dele, foi ali naquele endereço, no acervo da artista expressionista Marina Caram, local onde ela viveu por quase toda vida, Sebah Franco teve contato com o extenso acervo de obras da artista.
For the shooting, following the gaze towards affection, the house where the artist lives was chosen to frame the recording of the images.

A matriz “esperança” seduz pelo tamanho e detalhes. a matriz com (30×110) dividida em duas estampas, a ave e as flores foram impressas de forma a sugerir novas perspectivas de olhar sobre a gravura.

A matriz “ o mangará” (22×38) resgata uma das memórias mais encantadoras do artista, a bananeira, pelo sabor e o afeto que as lembranças que essa planta traz. A flor e frutos, são representados na matriz que pela primeira vez compõe a linha de estamparia no ecommerce. “o mangará” participou das exposições e oficina realizada pelo FINART-22, estas que aconteceram em São Paulo-SP e Uberlândia-MG, respectivamente na loja mod, antigo edifício da telefônica, ocupado pelo FINART, SESC-Uberlândia e Secretaria de cultura de Uberlândia.

A matriz “com amor-romã” (29×24) compõe o trio de memórias dessa coleção, a romãzeira fez parte de sua infância, a fruta sempre chamou atenção pela beleza da flor e do fruto, este que foi muito utilizado principalmente durante suas crises de amigdalite, como receita caseira para curar suas infecções de garganta.
The matrix “with love-pomegranate” (29×24) makes up the trio of memories in this collection, the pomegranate tree was part of his childhood, the fruit always drew attention due to the beauty of the flower and the fruit, which was used a lot especially during his crises of tonsillitis, as a home recipe to cure your throat infections.
