O Hürrem Sultan Bath em Istambul foi projetado e construído por Mimar Sinan, o arquiteto-chefe do Império Otomano. Foi construído no século XVI (1556-1557 DC) a pedido de Hürrem Sultan (Roxelana), esposa de Solimão, o Magnífico. Foi construído no local das antigas termas de Zeuxipo (100-200 d.C.), entre a Mesquita Azul e Hagia Sophia. A área também é particularmente importante por ser o local onde ficava o Templo de Zeus.O banho esteve fechado durante muitos anos e voltou a funcionar em 1910. The Hürrem Sultan Bath in Istanbul was designed and built by Mimar Sinan, the chief architect of the Ottoman Empire. It was built in the 16th century (1556-1557 AD) at the request of Hürrem Sultan (Roxelana), wife of Suleiman the Magnificent. It was built on the site of the ancient baths of Zeuxippus (100-200 AD), between the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The area is also particularly important as the site of the Temple of Zeus. The bath was closed for many years and opened again in 1910. It was later used to house convicts when the nearby Sultanahmet prison was full. In the following years, it served as a warehouse for the conservation of paper and oil.

Hürrem Sultan Bath, one of the most beautiful works in Istanbul, was first restored between 1957-1958 and served as a carpet market until 2007. Para desfrutar dos serviços ofertados pelo spa é necessário fazer a reserva antecipada, com horário e dia marcado para cada atividade.
