Where to make picnic in paris: list with the best places
This post is also available in: PortuguêsEspañol
Hello darlings!
Having fun in paris in the summer is a delight, there are several programs that can only be done with the highest temperatures, and picnic is one of them! With insider tips and friend patrícia marques, we have prepared a list of the best places to make a delicious picnic in paris. Come with me…
Luxembourg Garden
Luxembourg is a beautiful garden with several spots for picnic. The space has an artificial lagoon in the center where the kids go out to play with hand boats and remote control (they rent boats there too).
Around countless chairs to relax in, a delight. The garden also has a small but very cool museum and next door has an angelina. That’s right, forgetting to bring a candy to the picnic already knows where to get one!
In the margins of Sena
Relaxing on the banks of the Seine and watching the boats go by (and wave to the tourists, they always wave) is a must-see program. Our tip is to stay near the Alexandre III bridge, so there is a nice space and the view is beautiful. I know now it’s getting dark in the afternoon (between 10 pm and 10:30 p.m.), but it’s worth seeing the sun setting behind the bridge. Only time in Paris!
Place des Vosges
This is my favorite square in Paris, it is all surrounded by beautiful historic galleries. Most of them are art studios, but some also function as coffee houses and small shops. In one of the buildings in the square is the old house of the writer Victor Hugo, who today functions as a museum. The garden of the square counts on an artificial pond and fountain, some banks and a grass always green. And the location is great, it is in the Marais, a neighborhood that I love.
Garden of the Tradition
The garden of the Trocadéro is a much calmer place than the Champ de Mars, which is that region very close to the Tower. With less movement of people, more trees and a view of the Tower, this garden is ideal for Picnics.
And it was there that I, Pat, Chris and the children made the most wonderful Picnic in the world!
Picnic PariSabor
PariSabor is a company that organizes gastronomic tours and Picnis in Paris, all run by the Brazilian Janaina Pedroza. Janaina has been living in Paris for 17 years. She has a degree in gastronomy and a specialist in the French way of life. She organized the Picnic of Dreams for us! Seriously, just seeing these photos to understand the attention to detail and the flavors that went there …
Beautiful family also approved!
It had a lot of goodies: cheeses, cold cuts, homemade croissant, homemade janaina, quiche (also homemade), fruit salad, tomato skewers with buffalo mozzarella and basil, macarons, juice, Champagne geladinho and rose wine from Divvino! Everything perfectly neat, cushions to sit … very comfortable! Even a personalized badge with my name had. I loved!
Oh, and of course this marvel has a view of the Eiffel Tower. Want more what? To hire the Picnic from PariSabor contact us by Instagram! For gastronomic tips in Paris also accompany the blog: www.parisabor.com .
