AVEDA • BOTANICAL IN FAVOR OF BEAUTY AND EARTH
This post is also available in: PortuguêsEspañol
Taking advantage of my stay in London, I went to the Salon and SPA Aveda (@avedauk), to know the benefits of their own brand products developed with natural ingredients, and of course, I also enjoyed to make a delicious massage and relax a little amid turbulent British fashion week.
Aveda was created by Horst Rechelbacher for the purpose of developing cosmetic products with environmental responsibility, not only aimed at the world of beauty, but for the world as a whole.
Horst was an entrepreneur from the beginning of his career and opened his first salon in the early 1960s in Minneapolis (Minnesota – USA). In the late 1970s, suffering from overwork, she had to move away and with the help of herbal remedies made by her mother, combined with yoga and meditation, she could recover. After this, Horst made a retreat in India where he integrated Ayurveda into his lifestyle and then into his business model. He adopted a holistic thinking, the belief that individual beauty is directly linked to the beauty of the world around us.
This was how Aveda was born in 1978, with the vision of bringing botanical beauty products that are good for professionals, for their guests and for the Earth.
His signature ritual is a neck and shoulder massage, however, I also used to do a Thai massage and cut the locks with the talented Olivier Noha who is hair stylist at Aveda.
I believe that these wonderful products will soon be in Brazil. So visit the site to learn more about this incredible brand.
