Spa Aigai: An Oasis In São Paulo

Living in a city as big as São Paulo can be stressful. They are hours in traffic, noise pollution, visual, etc. With all these factors and the rush of day to day the body asks for PEACE. And Aigai is more than a SPA, it is an urban retreat, a place to stay in peace.

Aigai, in Greco-Roman mythology, was the refuge of the God of the Seas (Poseidon, for the Greeks, Neptune for the Romans). In Aigai, nothing disturbed him. For me, this translation is what best defines the concept of Aigai SPA! How lucky to have a place like this in the middle of the city of São Paulo. I have been a customer for some time and I always come back when the body asks for it.

There are three relaxation environments, with personalized services to meet individual needs. There are several massage options, whether to relax, balance, invigorate or just feel good! Massages carry ancestral concepts of mind and body care, and are in complete harmony with the most advanced water therapy equipment. Aigai Spa is also the only one in the world equipped entirely with German Dornbracht products, enshrined by the high technology in water therapies.

Massages
There are at least 10 massage options, among them Harmonia, Abhyanga, Vitality, Muscle melt, Shiatsu, Flow, etc. Abhyanga, for example, has been around for 7,000 years in India, and has the teachings of Ayurvedic medicine to balance mind and body. They are gentle movements made with heated medicated vegetable oils, which bring aesthetic, muscular and well-being benefits, of course. Before you begin, the therapist reads the patient’s body and their needs (everything there can be tailor-made for the client).
My SPA
Aigai also has a private floor where visitors can choose how long and how they want to relax. Perfect for a meeting with friends, do not you think? The space is available for up to six people, and who chooses how to enjoy the space and services are them! I loved this idea, imagine for brides who are super stressed and want some time with friends and brides before the big day? Perfect!
