Hello! For those who are following my Instagram or Glamurama’s already know a little of what happened at Paris Fashion Week, but here I will tell you all the details! Let’s start with the top Japanese designer Issey Miyake! Come and see…
Aurora Boreal
The main inspiration of the show was the Aurora Borealis, you know, right? That natural phenomenon of lights that occurs in cold northern places, as in Iceland, for example. To compose the idea, the stylist made a show of lights and sounds that transported the guests to the theme of the parade. The color chart swung between blue, green, purple and a half yellowish tone, really very true to Aurora.
BAKED STRETCH
For an artist it is fundamental a rich cultural baggage that permeates several areas. The inspirations and trend come from the most diverse places: science, history, cultures, religions, nature … And it was thus, plunging into other worlds, that Issey Miyake produced this new collection. Baked Stretch, for example, is a technique where a special glue is used in the fabric and then heats it all together to create a kind of folds. Overlapping wave patterns and lines create an optical effect that simulates electric plasma energy. What a power!
STEAM STRETCH
Steam Strech is a technique used to crumble the fabric and thus forming a kind of 3D squares! This type of work brings volume and lightness to the piece and together with the color chart used produces an incredible brilliance! And the looks are all light and in this comfortable vibe!
Foot comfort too! The shoes arrive with the thick, white and wavy soles (which change color depending on the direction you look!).
Shooting After The Parade And The Bao Bao Bag
Soon after the parade happened this wonderful shooting with the photographer @refashiongallery (instagram). And look at the wonderful bag I won, this is the Bao Bao model! This bag is made with PVC squares attached to a canvas, so it is very malleable, also reminiscent of origami. A masterpiece! Mine is blue, which by the way is a trend, I loved it!
That’s it, darlings, I hope you have enjoyed it and been inspired. I still come back with more content from this Paris Fashion Week!
Kisses!
